I really loved the How to Read and Analyze a Novel. Your posts have completely changed my attitude towards spec fic--I'm very interested in a course over here!

I would be very interested in a Speculative Fiction for the Literary Reader course - much of my interest in/enjoyment of speculative fiction is due to your influence (big Jeff VanderMeer and China Miéville fan thanks to you!). I quite liked the Substack format for previous courses.

Already excited for this course! I love speculative fiction, and am learning a lot working through your How to Read and Analyze a Novel course (I started late and am still catching up). I can see how substack isn't ideal for working through a course in real time, but it is nice to have the posts to read through after the fact.

I answered 'no' to the Little, Big slow read this year only because I joined in, and very much enjoyed it, last year. Will definitely join you for Paradise, and maybe Independent People (which I have read before, but is on my shelf so could easily reread).

I am a paid subscriber and am planning, probably once Gormenghast is done, to delve into some of the archives - I missed the Annals of the Western Shore material you did last year and those are almost the only UKLeGuin books I have yet to read, and this is encouraging me to finally do it!
